Volodymyr Zelensky

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is a Ukrainian politician and former entertainer who has served as Ukraine’s sixth president since 2019. He assumed office four years into the Russo-Ukrainian conflict and has led the country through Russia’s full-scale invasion, which began in February 2022.

Zelenskyy has made unmanned systems central to Ukraine’s military strategy, publicly championing mass drone strikes as a lever to alter Russian decision-making — arguing that sustained aerial pressure at scale, including deep-strike capability, can shift the strategic calculus in Kyiv’s favour.
