Maksym Muzyka

Maksym Muzyka is the chief executive of UA Dynamics , the Kyiv-based Ukrainian company that builds the Punisher reusable strike drone. The company was formalised in early 2022, just before Russia’s full-scale invasion, drawing on a drone project that a group of military engineers — most of them veterans of the fighting in eastern Ukraine — had begun in 2016.

Under Muzyka, UA Dynamics has pressed a single argument: that a cheap, reusable drone that drops modular bombs and flies home to rearm, paired with a reconnaissance scout, can strike targets tens of kilometres behind the front for a fraction of the cost of larger platforms. The company says it works solely to defeat the occupying forces, and roughly three-quarters of its staff are combat veterans.
