Benjamin Netanyahu

Benjamin Netanyahu is an Israeli politician who has served as prime minister on three separate occasions — 1996 to 1999, 2009 to 2021, and from 2022 to the present, making him Israel’s longest-serving head of government. His tenure has been defined by security and defence priorities, including sustained engagement with Iran’s nuclear programme and regional military posture.

As Israel’s head of government during a period of intensifying conflict with Iran, Netanyahu is a central political figure in decisions around Israeli strike capabilities, drone warfare, and the use of autonomous systems against Iranian-aligned forces and infrastructure.
