SurveilAIz is a software platform developed by DefSecIntel Solutions, introduced in 2020 to serve as the command and control intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C2ISR) backbone for counter-drone and autonomous surveillance operations. Designed as a camera-agnostic middleware, the system fuses data from multiple heterogeneous sensors into a single common operating picture, allowing operators to manage complex environments with reduced false alarms and faster response times. The platform is characterized by its open architecture, which enables the plug-and-play integration of third-party sensors, effectors, and national systems, ensuring interoperability with existing defense infrastructure.

The software’s core functionality relies on multi-sensor fusion and AI-driven anomaly detection to automate threat identification and drone dispatch. By aggregating inputs from radar, radio frequency (RF), electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR), and acoustic sensors, SurveilAIz creates a unified view of the battlespace. This integration supports an “operator on the loop” model, where the system automates the initial detection and classification phases but requires human authorization for final engagement decisions. The platform is designed to handle large volumes of sensor data, reducing the cognitive burden on operators while maintaining situational awareness across land, border, coastal, and maritime environments.

DefSecIntel Solutions markets the software as a critical component of its broader counter-UAS ecosystem, particularly its EIRSHIELD integrated multi-layer system. The company states that its capabilities are built on operational experience gained in Ukraine and are certified by NATO. SurveilAIz is intended to support both permanent and mobile deployments in difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions, serving defense forces, border authorities, and critical infrastructure operators. The software facilitates the transition from mere awareness to automated response, linking detection systems with soft- and hard-kill effectors to neutralize hostile aerial threats.

The system has been deployed by Estonia and Ukraine, according to company records. In Ukraine, the software has been combat-tested, providing real operational performance in demanding environments. DefSecIntel claims that its rapid development cycles are driven by lessons learned from the conflict, allowing for continuous feedback loops with end-users and operational partners. The platform is positioned as a solution for protecting the EU and NATO external borders, particularly on the Eastern Flank, by addressing vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure and restoring sovereignty of the skies against hostile drones.
