Murata SCH1633
Also recorded as SCH1633-D01, SCH1633-D0I and SCH1633
A Japanese six-axis inertial sensor (three gyroscopes and three accelerometers in one chip package), made for cars' driver-assistance and self-driving systems. HUR found it in the inertial navigation unit of the Geran-2 "Э" series and of the October 2026 Geran-4.

The SCH1633 is a six-axis inertial sensor from the Japanese electronics maker Murata: three gyroscopes and three accelerometers in one plastic package about the size of a postage stamp, qualified for cars and sold for driver-assistance and self-driving systems. It came on the market at the end of 2024, HUR noted when it first found one in a Geran. Murata quotes a gyro bias instability down to 0.5 degrees per hour, a figure that puts a mass-market car part within reach of what navigation-grade drones once needed specialist sensors for.
HUR War & Sanctions found it in the SADRA inertial navigation unit of the Geran-2 series “Э”, the version that carries a Verba anti-aircraft missile, published in January 2026, and again in the Geran-4 of October 2026. In both it replaces the separate Chinese gyroscope and American accelerometer of earlier SADRA units, beside a u-blox satellite receiver and an STMicroelectronics processor.
