Zone 5 Technologies demonstrates Rusty Dagger Block 40 with solid-fuel ground-launch booster

Published

Zone 5 Technologies has shown the first ground launch of its Rusty Dagger cruise missile in a Block 40 configuration, fitted with a tail-mounted solid-fuel booster that also enables launch from naval platforms. According to the developer, design to demonstration took fewer than three months. Warhead capacity is 45–113 kg; air-launched range exceeds 926 km, while ground-launch range has not been stated. Air-launch from wing pylons or airdropped pallets is retained. The company states Ukrainian forces already possess the original air-launched AGM-188A variant developed under the ERAM programme.
