ZALA Z-16 ISR drone cues Tornado-S MLRS strike on Kharkiv ammo depot

Published

According to ZALA Aero’s Telegram channel and Russian milblogger reporting, a ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance drone from Group North identified a large Ukrainian ammunition depot in Kharkiv Oblast by tracking heavy military transport vehicles repeatedly accessing a storage hangar. A Tornado-S 300 mm MLRS battery was then directed to the target and reportedly destroyed it in a single precision strike, with post-strike assessment confirmed by the same Z-16 — a full ISR-to-fire loop the Russian side is publicising as a template for drone-artillery integration. The claim is unverified.
