Yehorivka: Russian sources claim 10-plus Ukrainian ground robots and 58 heavy drones lost

Published 2 October 2026

Russian milblogger Colonel Cassad, citing assault-unit accounts from the battle for Yehorivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, reports that Ukrainian defenders lost more than ten unmanned ground vehicles alongside 58 heavy Baba-Yaga hexacopters and several armoured vehicles during the fighting. If the UGV figure is accurate, it suggests Ukrainian forces were deploying ground robots at something approaching company scale in a contested settlement defence — a substantially larger concentration than single-vehicle proof-of-concept operations previously documented.
