VEGA DV mobile platform carries three fully autonomous interceptor drones

A mobile intercept platform designated VEGA DV carries three autonomous interceptors and patrols an assigned sector for up to 50 minutes at ranges up to 15 km. Each interceptor weighs up to 3.5 kg, reaches 350 km/h and operates within a 1 km radius; once the operator releases the lock the vehicle engages a detected target autonomously without further human input. Interceptors can be launched singly, sequentially or simultaneously as a salvo.
