USAF takes delivery of first Anduril YFQ-44A Fury and GA YFQ-42A Vengeance CCA prototypes

The US Air Force has received the first two pre-production Collaborative Combat Aircraft at Creech AFB, Nevada: the YFQ-44A Fury from Anduril and the YFQ-42A Vengeance from General Atomics. The 556th Test and Evaluation Squadron will conduct operational trials alongside manned fighters from the 53rd Wing to develop employment tactics and logistics, ahead of formal type acceptance. The ‘Y’ prefix marks both aircraft as pre-production; the explicit goal is to capture real-world operator feedback before the design is locked.
