US Griffon Aerospace Outlaw MQM-170C aerial target drone recovered on Iranian territory

A Griffon Aerospace Outlaw MQM-170C — a subsonic aerial target drone used by the US Air Force for air-defence training exercises — came down on Iranian soil; the IRGC claims its electronic warfare systems suppressed the aircraft. Because the Outlaw is not a combat system, Ukrainian analysts assess it was operated by the United States either as an expendable decoy to saturate Iranian air defences or in an ISR configuration.
