Ukrainian PZL M28 anti-drone gunship destroys Gerbera-2 with M134D minigun on film

Published 18 October 2026

Military Informant circulated footage of a Ukrainian PZL M28 (An-28 Skytruck) aircraft operating as a dedicated anti-drone gunship, using a door-mounted M134D minigun to destroy a Russian Gerbera-2 drone. The camera angle on the engagement provides a detailed look at the Gerbera-2 airframe in operational flight. The gunship configuration follows the pattern of repurposing light turboprop aircraft for persistent counter-UAS patrol over contested areas.
