Ukrainian FP-1 kamikaze drone claimed at 3,400 km range with wing-mounted fuel tanks

Published 1 November 2026

Russian military blogger Military Informant reports a modified Ukrainian FP-1 long-range kamikaze drone carrying auxiliary fuel tanks mounted on the wings, with range stated at up to 3,400 km — roughly three times previously reported figures. The airframe is also shown fitted with unspecified communications hardware described as being for signal reception. Separate footage reportedly showed a test of a missile derivative of the FP-1 family. The claim originates from a Russian pro-Kremlin source and has not been independently confirmed.
