Ukrainian drones strike Omsk chemical plant and logistics hub 2,500 km from front

Published

Ukrainian drones struck industrial and logistics targets in Omsk on 24 October — the third reported attack on the city after strikes on 6 July and 8 October, roughly 2,500 km from the front line. The Omsky Kauchuk synthetic rubber plant (part of Titan Group, which produces MTBE used in automotive fuel) caught fire alongside an Ozon e-commerce distribution centre. Video showed a drone reaching its target in the city unimpeded; Russian milblogger UAVDEV publicly criticised the absence of any intercept before impact. Omsk airport was closed following the attack.
