Ukrainian drone makers disperse production to NATO countries for interceptors and counter-UAS

Published

Croatia’s ORQA and Ukraine’s General Cherry have signed a joint production agreement for interceptor drones, electronics, and counter-UAS systems; finished platforms for NATO buyers will be assembled in Croatia while protected underground facilities in Ukraine produce electronic and communications components. Separately, Airlogix has opened a UK production facility and holds agreements in Canada and Finland, with German production already operational. The pattern signals a deliberate strategy to disperse Ukrainian drone assembly capacity across allied territory, transferring assembly know-how and component-integration techniques built on Chinese-sourced parts.
