Fire Point, the Ukrainian developer behind the FP-1 long-range kamikaze drone, has confirmed combat use of its FP-7 ballistic missile. Reported specifications include approximately 300 km range, a 200 kg warhead, and a $600,000 unit cost—a price the company acknowledges makes FP-7 economically marginal compared with deploying up to 16 FP-2 long-range drones for the same budget. A cluster-munition warhead variant is under consideration. A more capable successor, the FP-9, is described as nearing the end of its test programme.
