Ukraine's ANT doubles MERCURY reconnaissance UAV endurance to 5 hours and extends range to 250 km

Ukrainian firm Aviation New Technologies (ANT) has unveiled an upgraded MERCURY UAV complex with endurance doubled from 2.5 to 5 hours, maximum range extended from 170 to 250 km, service ceiling raised from 3,000 to 4,000 m and top speed up to 126 km/h. The upgrade adds inertial navigation for GPS-denied operation and redundant communications channels, alongside improved EW resistance in software — measures aimed at sustaining reconnaissance in heavily jammed frontline environments.
