Ukrainian forces and Gurzuf Defence (produced by SkyFall) carried out what Ukrainian sources describe as the country’s first extraction of a wounded soldier by a heavy hexacopter, from terrain where ground evacuation was blocked by mines and Russian drone activity. The casualty attached himself to the aircraft with a safety harness during transport and survived. A Russian milblogger acknowledged the capability gap on their own side, noting a higher-end variant called StarGate carries a fully enclosed capsule for critically injured personnel — a feature absent from the Gurzuf Defence model used.
