Ukraine built city-wide EW dome over Kyiv to block MESH-radio-guided Shaheds

Serhii Beskrestnov (Flash) has disclosed a major coordinated electronic warfare operation to protect Kyiv from Shahed variants that Russia steers via MESH radio modems, allowing operators to guide the drones from Russian territory without GPS dependence. Over several weeks, Ukraine’s full EW manufacturing base worked around the clock installing and commissioning equipment across the city, in an effort coordinated by the General Staff, Ministry of Defence, Interior Ministry, NSDC, and other security bodies. Beskrestnov describes it as one of the defining ‘special operations’ in the ongoing urban electronic warfare contest between the two sides.
