Turkish MKE PIRANA AUSV: 400 nm drone carrier and USV command node

Turkey’s MKE displayed a PIRANA AUSV mockup at Euronaval 2026 — a 35-knot, 400-nautical-mile unmanned surface vessel with eight UAV launch containers and up to 1,000 kg payload. The new configuration shifts the platform from a pure kamikaze role to a launch carrier and command node for aerial drones and other unmanned surface vessels, with communications via radio, satellite link and LTE.
