Suspected arson at WB Electronics in Poland targets maker of FlyEye and Warmate drones

Published

Two fires hit Polish defence firms supplying UAVs to Ukraine within a single 24-hour period, with the more significant incident at WB Electronics in Skarzysko-Kamienna — Poland’s largest private defence company and the manufacturer of FlyEye reconnaissance drones and Warmate attack drones. Preliminary damage at WB Electronics is estimated at €3.5 million. Polish authorities opened a criminal investigation on charges of participation in foreign intelligence activity and an act of terrorism after CCTV captured an unidentified masked individual on the premises. Neither fire has been officially attributed; Russian milblogger channels are presenting both as deliberate acts.
