Supacat HMT 400 presented at Land Forces 2026 with APKWS II rockets for counter-UAS

UK manufacturer Supacat displayed an anti-air configuration of its HMT 400 light protected vehicle at the Land Forces 2026 exhibition. The platform mounts Moog’s Flexible Mission Platform module: a six-barrel M134 minigun covering targets within roughly 1 km, plus an M261 pod loaded with 19 APKWS II laser-guided 70 mm rockets effective to about 5 km. The pairing of a high-rate close-in weapon with a guided standoff rocket positions the vehicle as a layered counter-UAS and light air defence solution.
