'Spektr-K' field EW scanner covers 1,000–12,000+ MHz with 12-second full-band sweep

Published

A Russian channel announces pre-orders for ‘Spektr-K’, an upgraded field spectrum receiver pairing the existing Spektr unit (70–6,000 MHz) with an analogue converter to extend upper coverage to 1,000–12,000+ MHz. The device tunes to any arbitrary frequency rather than fixed channel grids and is claimed to complete a full RSSI sweep in under 12 seconds, allowing operators to map the entire tactical RF environment rapidly. It is reported to have completed evaluation at the Rubikon centre, which also operates FPV air-defence crews.
