SkyFall announces Thor Hammer fixed-wing UAV with AI terminal guidance at $25–30k

Published

A Ukrainian defence channel reports Russia’s SkyFall company has unveiled the Thor Hammer, a truck- or catapult-launched fixed-wing strike UAV in two variants rated at 350 km and 600 km range, with a future variant projected beyond 1,000 km. The system carries a 40–50 kg fragmentation or blast-fragmentation warhead, cruises at up to 180 km/h with a 3.5 m wingspan, and can be deployed in approximately 18 minutes. The guidance package integrates satellite, inertial and backup navigation for GPS-denied or EW-contested operations, and couples AI-based computer vision for terminal homing when both datalink and video feed are lost — a capability parallel to recent Geran guidance upgrades. Communications run over Starlink or a proprietary encrypted channel; electronics and propulsion are described as domestically produced. Unit price is claimed at $25,000–30,000.
