SEABER RAVEN autonomous underwater mine-detection drone: 300 m depth, 8-hour endurance

Published

French company SEABER has unveiled the RAVEN autonomous underwater vehicle (1.3 m, 13 kg) built to survey the seabed and locate naval mines to 300 m depth with up to eight hours of endurance. Two sensor configurations are offered: SCAN-MAG with a magnetometer for metallic objects, and SCAN-LUMEN with a high-resolution camera and powerful lighting for visual inspection. The compact form factor allows deployment from small vessels; the system is designed for detection and identification, not mine disposal.
