Saab CB90 CX combat boat family adds SHORAD, anti-ship and autonomous-control variants

Saab has unveiled the CB90 CX, an 18-metre stretched derivative of the Combat Boat 90 with twin 1,100 hp engines providing over 40 knots and more than five tonnes payload. Three mission variants are offered: an ISR boat with Sea Giraffe 1X radar, an anti-ship configuration armed with MBDA Marte ER missiles (100-plus km range), and a SHORAD variant with a 30 mm SeaSnake automatic gun for drone and low-flying aircraft suppression. All variants support remote and autonomous control.
