Russian Kurer UGVs train in Tajikistan mountains with weapons and supply configs

Published

Troops from Russia’s 201st Military Base in Dushanbe have begun exercises with Kurer ground robotic complexes on the mountainous Lyaur range in Tajikistan, practising remote operation in complex terrain. The system can be fitted with a PKT tank machine gun, a Utyes heavy machine gun, or an AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher for assault support and fire on the move, and also serves as an unmanned ammunition and medical-supply carrier. Russian sources note the Kurer was first used in combat on the Avdiivka axis in early 2024 and now has a dedicated exhibit at Russia’s Central Military Museum.
