Russia's NPO Polet releases net-gun product line for hand-held and FPV-mounted drone capture

Published 2 September 2026

NPO Polet’s updated lineup includes the Spider Duplet — a double-barrel hand-held device that fires two sequential shots without reloading, evolving the earlier Pauk-30B — and the Pauk-30BN with a bayonet quick-release cartridge. All models use electronic rather than mechanical triggers. Hand-held effective range is up to 25 m; a drone-mounted variant designed for 7-inch FPV airframes deploys a 2 m net at 4–6 m standoff and requires drilling for non-standard frames. The manufacturer positions the hand-held units as last-resort complements to direct fire rather than replacements.
