Russia registers 'Hermes' multi-band encrypted FPV control software as domestic product

Russia’s Mincifry ministry has added Hermes to the official domestic software registry. The software manages FPV drone control links across multiple radio-frequency bands, selecting the optimal frequency in real time based on continuous electromagnetic environment monitoring. It also implements encrypted command channels to reduce the risk of hostile link takeover. The formal registration signals planned wider state-backed distribution of a system described as already deployed operationally.
