Russia fires over 2,000 drones and 100 missiles at Ukrainian power grid in first three days of November

A French analyst cited across multiple channels reports Russia launched more than 2,000 drones and over 100 missiles against Ukrainian energy infrastructure in the first three days of November 2026 alone. Since late September the campaign has struck 36 power plants and at least 80 substations — including those linking nuclear stations in western Ukraine to Kyiv — with the assessed Russian objective of disabling electricity, heating and water treatment before winter.
