Russia deploys mobile counter-drone groups every two km along Belgorod border; claims effectiveness rising

Published

Pro-Russian blogger Barantchik, writing from the Belgorod border region, claims that Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian territory have become significantly less effective despite record launch volumes: raids of 400–800 drones now reportedly achieve results comparable to raids of 150–200 earlier in the year. The improvement is attributed to dense deployment of mobile counter-drone groups (MOGs) stationed every two kilometres along the Belgorod frontier, including units equipped with Orlan reconnaissance drones. FPV air-defence crews of the BARS-Belgorod formation reportedly destroyed large numbers of incoming drones during the week of 26 October. These figures are pro-Russian claims and cannot be independently verified.
