North Korea unveils heavy flying-wing UAV and FPV drones at national exhibition

North Korea staged its ‘Development of Unmanned Aerial Technology — 2026’ exhibition on 29 October, exhibiting a previously unseen heavy flying-wing UAV alongside FPV drone designs. The DPRK defence industry presented several models including types seen at prior showcases. The display signals continuing North Korean investment in both larger strike-capable platforms and small kamikaze systems, following earlier documented transfers of DPRK munitions and hardware to Russia.
