North Korea tests two submarine-launched strategic cruise missiles from submarine No. 841 in Sea of Japan

Pyongyang announced the submerged test-firing of two types of submarine-launched strategic cruise missiles on 14 October from the submarine ‘Hero Kim Gun Ok’ (hull number 841) in the Sea of Japan, according to DPRK state media as relayed by Ukrainian monitoring channels. The test marks the first announced operational use of that vessel as a cruise-missile launch platform.
