Kuryer 2.0 'Luch' variant burns through anti-tank mine casings at 300 m with laser

Published

Multiple Kuryer UGV variants were shown at Tsentr-2026 exercises, including the Kuryer 2.0 ‘Luch’ modification, which uses a directed laser beam to ignite mine filler without triggering detonation. A TM-62 anti-tank mine burned through in 5–7 seconds, with the TNT charge consuming itself over five minutes and no fragmentation. The system operates up to 20 km from the operator and is designed to work autonomously in the grey zone, clearing mined approaches without exposing sappers.
