A jet-Geran strike on a Zhytomyr electrical substation on 16 October caused power and water outages across the city, following the grid-targeting pattern of the Lutsk 330 kV attack the previous day. The wider overnight wave also struck two automotive wiring-harness plants — Kromberg & Schubert in Lutsk and SEBN-UA (Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze Ukraine) in Chortkiv — alongside logistics warehouses across Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Rivne and Volyn oblasts. Russian sources frame the pattern as a deliberate campaign against industrial supply chains and energy infrastructure ahead of winter.
