Japan trials SkyFall P1-SUN interceptor drones acquired from Ukraine

Russian analytical channel Rybar reports that a Japanese parliamentary delegation visiting Kyiv agreed to a trial purchase of drones from Ukrainian firm SkyFall, likely the P1-SUN interceptor previously sold to the UAE. The delegation’s interest follows concerns in Tokyo about the absence of effective counter-UAS options beyond conventional air defence, prompted by footage of Chinese military drone exercises.
