Hungary tests domestic laser anti-drone weapon, targets army deployment within a year

Hungary’s Ministry of Defence demonstrated a domestically developed laser weapon at the Nullponti range on 17 October, destroying a UAV simulating an enemy aerial target. The defence minister stated the army could receive the system within a year. The developer, system name, laser power and effective range were not disclosed publicly.
