GUR displays Filin wreckage with Kometa 12-antenna guidance module; parameters reported

Published

Ukraine’s GUR (military intelligence directorate) publicly displayed fragments of Russia’s Filin cruise missile alongside pieces of the Geran-5 and the Dan-T/Banderol loitering munition. The Filin fragment shown carries a module labelled ‘Kometa’ fitted with 12 antennas, suggesting a multi-antenna navigation or anti-jam guidance system. Russian milblogger channel Военный Осведомитель, citing the same display, reports previously circulated parameters from Russian sources: maximum range of 1,200 km with a 50 kg warhead, 700 km with a 100 kg warhead, and cruise speed up to 800 km/h. These figures are Russian-side claims and have not been independently verified.
