Greece unveils Achilles Shield multilayer air defence at Thessaloniki, including Rafael Drone Dome

Published

Greece publicly demonstrated the main components of its Achilles Shield integrated air and missile defence architecture for the first time during the 28 October military parade in Thessaloniki. Systems on display included the Israeli SPYDER, BARAK MX and David’s Sling missile systems, Rafael’s Drone Dome counter-UAV system and the domestically developed Kentauros. The architecture is intended to layer detection and intercept capabilities against aircraft, ballistic and cruise missiles and armed drones within a unified command structure.
