A Geran-4 drone struck a locomotive at Lyubotin station in Kharkiv region — a major rail junction on routes serving Kharkiv — as part of what Russian milblog Barantchik describes as a deliberate campaign to destroy Ukrainian traction units rather than track infrastructure. Earlier strikes in the same series are claimed near Odessa, Kryvyi Rih, and Pyatykhatky, as well as rolling stock at underpass positions. The targeting logic centres on constraining Ukraine’s capacity to redeploy forces and move military cargo by rail by eliminating the locomotives that pull the trains.
