Fire Point CEO: Flamingo cruise missiles were a political statement, not a viable weapon

Published

Fire Point CEO Iryna Terekh has publicly characterised the Flamingo cruise missile programme as a political demonstration of the capacity to strike deep into Russia rather than a scalable operational system, saying there is no point deploying it for strikes on Russian rear areas. Russian analyst channels counter that Fire Point had been expanding production facilities and reportedly held around 100 rounds at the time of the statement, framing the announcement as evidence of the cumulative effect of Russian strikes on Ukrainian defence manufacturing.
