Denmark receives nine Dropla 4×4 ground robots from Danish-Ukrainian developer

Published

Denmark’s Armed Forces have taken delivery of nine Dropla 4×4 unmanned ground vehicles for the country’s Unmanned Systems Centre, primarily for training operators — including conscripts — and evaluating integration of UGVs into logistics, reconnaissance and fire-support roles. Dropla Tech was founded in 2023 as a Danish-Ukrainian venture with headquarters in Odense and R&D units operating in Ukraine. The vehicles are delivered unarmed; procurement agency FMI is studying the addition of a remote-controlled weapon station with a machine gun and enhanced communications for a future variant.
