Canada restructures army divisions to unify UAVs and EW under single command

Published

Canada’s army is reorganising its heavy maneuver brigades for high-intensity warfare by consolidating long-range fires, UAVs and electronic warfare under unified divisional command rather than distributing those assets across brigades. Russian military analysis channel Poisk_mil, cited by Colonel Cassad, published a detailed breakdown of the new structure across three divisions and a doctrine and training centre. The reform reflects operational lessons from Ukraine where centrally coordinated drone-EW-fires combinations have consistently outperformed decentralised models.
