Bird-drone camouflage declared obsolete on both sides as multi-sensor networks close the gap

Published

Analysts on Russian (UAVDEV) and Ukrainian (Victory Drones) channels independently conclude that bird-mimicry camouflage for small fixed-wing UAVs — which provided real concealment against visual and radar observation up to around 2022 — is now defeated by the layered density of compact radar, acoustic sensors, electro-optical systems and automated classification algorithms covering the front. Both flapping-wing ornithopter and static-glider designs are assessed as mechanically unreliable and unable to fool modern multi-sensor air pictures. The independent convergence of analysts on both sides on the same conclusion suggests the technique has been comprehensively countered.
