Allen Control Systems tests autonomous counter-drone buggy with AI-targeting turret

Allen Control Systems conducted successful trials of ULTRA, a counter-UAS platform pairing an Overland AI-navigated Polaris RZR unmanned buggy with the Bullfrog weapon module. The system autonomously plans routes, avoids obstacles and operates without GPS; the Bullfrog turret detects drones via optical cameras and AI and engages at 0.8–1.5 km range with selectable calibres from 7.62 mm to 30 mm. Platform specifications include a 56 km/h top speed, 160 km operational range and a 450 kg payload capacity.
