China watch
Every report of Chinese personnel in Russia, occupied Ukraine or Belarus that this feed has collected — kept permanently, each with its grade and its sources.
Reports of Chinese people — soldiers, officers, military advisers, instructors, technical specialists servicing equipment, observers — in Russia, occupied Ukraine or Belarus. Chinese components, drone parts and deliveries are a different question and are tracked separately.
Each item carries an Admiralty grade: a letter for how reliable the source has proven, a digit for how well the claim is corroborated. C3 is a fairly reliable source making a possibly-true claim. D4 is one source we do not rate, saying something we cannot confirm. Both appear here, deliberately — the pattern over time is the point, and a claim that turns out to be false is part of that pattern. Nothing on this page is presented as established fact.
Entries are never removed. When a finding leaves the front section it comes here and stays.
Nothing has met this bar yet. The channels are read for it every day; when a report of Chinese personnel appears, it is recorded here and kept.
