Russian forces deploy Geran-4 Sikher long-range drones

Bottom line

Russian Rubicon center has begun deploying the Geran-4 Sikher long-range drone, with footage confirming strikes on logistics and commercial targets in Dnipro region.

Why it matters

The introduction of the Geran-4 Sikher indicates Russian efforts to diversify long-range strike capabilities, potentially offering different range, payload, or guidance characteristics compared to existing Geran variants, complicating Ukrainian air defense planning.

Russian milbloggers (Victory Drones, Военный осведомитель) report that the Rubicon center has started using the Geran-4 Sikher long-range drone alongside existing forces. First footage shows the drone striking a warehouse in Novomoskovsk and the Epitsentr mall in Podhorodne, Dnipropetrovsk region. This marks the first confirmed operational deployment of this specific variant, expanding the Russian long-range strike arsenal beyond Geran-2 and Geran-5.
