Russian forces destroy Ukrainian ground robot antennas in Zaporizhzhia

Bottom line

Russian drone operators from the 37th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade have destroyed Ukrainian NSU (unmanned aerial systems) antennas in the Zaporizhzhia direction to disrupt enemy drone command and control.

Why it matters

Ukrainian and allied drone operators should consider hardening or relocating NSU antennas and employing more mobile or dispersed control setups to mitigate this specific Russian counter-drone tactic.

Footage and reports from the 37th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade show drone operators engaging and destroying Ukrainian NSU antennas. This action is part of a broader Russian effort to degrade Ukrainian drone capabilities by targeting the critical datalink infrastructure rather than just the airframes, highlighting the vulnerability of ground-based control stations.
