Russian forces destroy Ukrainian UAV command posts in Donbas

Bottom line

Russian milbloggers claim destruction of multiple Ukrainian UAV command posts and comms antennas near Donetsk and Kramatorsk, disrupting local drone operations.

Why it matters

Targeting UAV command posts suggests Russian forces are attempting to degrade Ukrainian drone coordination at the tactical level, potentially forcing Ukrainian units to operate with reduced situational awareness or delayed response times.

Russian milbloggers Boris Rozhin and Rybar report that Russian forces, including the 150th Motor Rifle Division and the 238th Guards Artillery Brigade, destroyed Ukrainian UAV command posts and communication antennas near Donetsk and Staroandreevka. These strikes reportedly disrupted Ukrainian UAV operations and command-and-control in the sector. The targeting of drone command nodes indicates a shift in Russian counter-UAS efforts from kinetic interception to direct attacks on the organizational infrastructure of Ukrainian drone units.
