Russian Suvorov Break center launches MoD-contracted FPV operator training

Bottom line

The Suvorov Break training center has opened a 30-day FPV drone operator course under contract with the Russian MoD, incorporating 3D modeling and live flight simulations.

Why it matters

Standardized, contract-based training programs indicate Russia is institutionalizing FPV warfare, potentially increasing the quality and quantity of drone operators available for frontline deployment.

Russian milbloggers report that the Suvorov Break training center has initiated a specialized 30-day course for FPV drone operators contracted by the Russian MoD. The curriculum includes theoretical instruction, 3D modeling, simulator training, and live flights using warhead simulations. This formalization of training suggests a move toward standardizing and scaling FPV pilot production within the Russian military structure.
